Also provides reimbursement for cancer related prescriptions, wigs and supplies, co-payment reimbursement for chemo & radiation, X-rays and scans. Cancer Aid will reimburse up to $8,000 total per patient. Lends durable medical equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, commodes etc. Will accept donations of such medical equipment. Monetary donations are always welcome. Cancer patients must be Nevada County residents and be registered with Cancer Aid. Client requests and submits registration paperwork. Paperwork be signed by their physician, and returned to the case manager at Cancer Aid.
